Get to Know Your Westwood Family-Dale and Lynsae

Hi Westwood family. This week we get to hear a bit of Dale and Lynsae’s story. Enjoy!
WW: Let’s start with you telling us about yourselves. Where did you grow up?
D&L: Dale and I(Lynsae) are from southern Manitoba – Steinbach. We met when we were volunteering at a bible camp. We are high school sweethearts and got married at a young age. We moved from Steinbach area to Calgary for my work as an x-ray tech. We had many adventures in Calgary and after almost 9yrs we then moved on to PG and have been here for 14yrs. Dale works at Coscto and I work at the hospital.
WW: Tell us a bit about your family:
D&L: We are a family of 5 with a fur baby. We have 3 small kids; Abigail who is almost 6, Logan who is 3yrs old and Spencer who is almost a year. Life is busy 
WW: What do you do for fun together?
D&L: We enjoy swimming in our pool, walking, biking, playing in our back yard, and visiting with friends.
WW: How long have you been at Westwood Church and how have you enjoyed serving our community?
D&L: We have been at Westwood Church for the time we have been in PG (14yrs). I have enjoyed serving coffee in between the services and have enjoyed being involved with Ladies bible study over the years.
WW: What has life been like for you the last few years?
D&L: Life has been interesting over the last few years, as we have grown our family. We didn’t always know if we were going to be blessed with one child never mind three. Here we are today, after struggling with infertility, we have 3 energetic blessings, 2 from IVF and 1 God given surprise at the end!
WW: What are you appreciating about life right now?
D&L: We have enjoyed being together as a family during this crazy “covid” time. We have baked, enjoyed our deck, grandma and grandpa visits and been very thankful for our big backyard.
WW: What is challenging in life right now? What is God teaching you in this time?
D&L: Dale has had some medical challenges for many years and continues to make life interesting and honestly difficult at times. We are also heading into a new rhythm of life with me heading back to work. God is so good and He has been faithful! He provides for our needs each and every day, sometimes each hour.  God is reminding us to have full reliance on him and that he is bigger than our challenges. God is good! He is good all the time!
Thanks Dale and Lynsae for openness to share both the ups and downs in life and God’s faithfulness to you!
