You can play a role!
Worship Teams

Westwood worship teams lead music at our weekly Sunday services. The music at these services is intended to communicate God's truth and love in a relevant musical language, and to help those gathered respond to God in worship.
Worship teams generally include:

  • singers
  • piano/keyboard
  • acoustic guitar
  • electric guitar
  • bass guitar
  • drums
Other instruments such as woodwinds or strings can greatly enhance the music when those proficient in their performance make themselves available. Those proficient in the above, and who have a heart for worship are invited to contact Pastor Tim.
Technical SupportTechnical personnel give support to our services and special events, as well as other programming that requires this expertise. At Westwood the technical aspects generally fall into three categories:
  • Audio reinforcement
  • Computer visuals
  • Lighting
If you have experience or a desire to learn and serve in these areas, please contact Pastor Tim at the church office.
DramaDrama Although drama is used quite infrequently at Westwood, it quite often contributes to the Christmas Dessert Concerts and Christmas Eve Services. If you have experience in writing, directing, or acting, please contact Pastor Tim.
ChiorYou may have gained experience singing in a choir during your school years or in a community choir. On the other hand, you may have no singing experience. No matter what singing experience you have, here at Westwood there is a choir which you might want to check out. The Westwood Choir is about "Bringing Jesus Into Life"
To do this, we work towards these goals:
  • To present music which is relevant in style and meaningful in content. To help lead the congregation in worship at Sunday services.
  • To perform at special events which help get people connected to Jesus and to Westwood church.
  • To build positive relationships within the choir as we rehearse and perform. We want to work hard together and have fun together!
