Youth Ministries

Youth Ministries at Westwood are all about bringing youth to a place of encountering the reality and awesomeness of God and committing themselves to a personal relationship with Jesus.  It is a place for youth to shed their old lives and to press on toward perfection in Christ in a solid community that is built upon scripture.  It’s about youth, but it’s more than that, it’s about youth catching the grander vision of the gospel and being challenged to live lives that shake the world.

Crave

Grades 6-8, and 9-12

Our Sunday morning youth services run on Sunday mornings from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm for youth in grades 6-8 and 9-12.  Come be challenged and transformed by God as we learn to know Him and worship Him together. Meet in the Westwood Church Youth Centre.

Youth Group

Grades 6-8

Every Thursday, from 6:30 – 8:30 pm, we will get together inthe Westwood Church Youth Center (use South Entrance) to hang out, play games, build relationships and explore the gospel.  Come and bring all your friends.

Grades 9-12

Every Friday from 7:00 – 9:30 pm we will be getting together to hang out, build relationships and share the gospel with youth while building a safe and welcoming youth community.  Locations will vary, so check back here to keep in the loop.

This coming Friday will be the last youth group for 2012 so we will be having a Christmas party at Joel and Stephanie Baergs’ place.  So come join us and bring snow gear.  Directions are in the link below, but if you need a ride meet the the youth center at the church at 7pm.

Youth in grades 7-12 are invited to this Prince George-wide praise and worship evening on Friday, September 28 from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Westwood Church auditorium. Bring $5 for pizza and pop.
